Located on unceded Anishinaabe and Mohawk territory, the Chutes-gaies/chutes-aux-fifs/gay falls are located on the Kiwetin Sipi River (rivière-du-Nord), on the historic territory of the Anishinaabe Weskarini First Nation (now the Kitigan Zibi) and the Kanienkehaka.
